Nauरंग 3.0

This project was conducted by the "Digital Communications and Creatives Avenue" of RC Birla College on September 26 - October 05, 2022.


To celebrate the occasion of Navratri by rolling out the 9 colors with zeal and contentment about success and legitimacy of women.


1. On 23rd September, 2022, Promotional activity was conducted in the official WhatsAapp group of GBMs wherein pictures of Renowned women were sent and everyone had to guess their names and shortly describe them. The activity was concluded with the PR message and JPEG. Also, link for the sperate WhatsApp group created for the project was attached with it.

2. Profile picture of RCBirla's all social media handles were updated according to the colors for 9 days of festival.

3. Description of Law acts passed by the government for women were posted on LinkedIn platform of RCBirla, considering one on each day. Along with it, stories of inspiring women of India were posted on the Instagram stories of RCBirla and video of Outfit for each day were posted on different different social Media Platforms. The directors were posted blog at the end of each day. The podcast were shared on Spotify. Also, they were shared in the WhatsApp group and Directors elaborated and explained to all.


4. Days schedule is as follows:


(I) Day 1- Motherhood

We started first day of Nauरंग 3.0 by updating profile pictures of all social media platforms. We twitted tweet about topic for the day 1:White on twitter platform. The Goddess for the first Day Maa Shailputri's creative JPEG was uploaded on Instagram story & Pinterest. Also, information of 'Salumarada Thimmakka' Karnataka's most popular an environmental activist was uploaded on Instagram story. The video of outfit for the first day of Navratri was shared on Instagram reel & YouTube shorts. Description of Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 was posted on RCBirla's LinkedIn platform & posted podcast on Spotify for the same. On the first day of Nauरंग3.0 we conducted poster making competition for the participants. Director shared the topic for the competition, rules and regulations to the participants. Total 30 entries were received. Out of that 30 entries we selected top 3 positions. At the end of the 1st day we shared blog on our RCBirla's official website.


(II) Day 2 - Menstrual Hygiene

We started second day of Nauरंग 3.0 by updating profile pictures of all social media platforms. We twitted tweet about topic for the day 2: Red on twitter platform. The Goddess for the second Day Maa Brahmacharini's creative JPEG was uploaded on Instagram story & Pinterest. Also, information of 'Rupi Kaur' kanadian-based poet popularly known for her poem on love, loss, abuse, Feminity and menstruation was uploaded on Instagram story. The video of outfit for the second day of Navratri was shared on Instagram reel & YouTube shorts. Description of Menstrual Hygiene Scheme (MHS) was posted on LinkedIn & posted podcast on Spotify for the same. On the second day of Nauरंग3.0 we conducted 'Menstrual Hygiene Awareness' Session for the girl participants. We conducted session in hybrid mode. The speaker for the session was Rtr. Rakshita Manglani, PIS & PRM director at Rotaract Club of Thane Central & Mumbai City head at 'Green Pencil Foundation' (REGD. NGO). She presented a wonderful presentation on 'Menstrual Health & Hygiene' in which she explained physiology of menstruation, period cramps, vaginal discharge, what to eat & what not to eat and how to prepare yourself for periods. After this she explained why girls are tough . The presentation was ended with a beautiful song 'Love you Zindagi' to motivate girls for the future hurdles. Making it a grand total of 97 participants. At the end of the session our secretary & project chairpersons felicitated our speaker for the day 'Rtr. Rakshita Manglani'. Feedback was circulated after the end of the session. On the second day of Nauरंग3.0 we conducted presentation making competition for the participants. Director shared the topic for the competition: 1) Menstrual Hygiene 2) Economic Independence 3) Women and Education, rules and regulations to the participants. Total 15 entries were received. Out of that 15 entries we selected top 3 presentations. At the end of the 2nd day we shared blog on our RCBirla's official website.


(III) Day 3 :- Gender Inequality

We started third day of Nauरंग 3.0 by updating profile pictures of all social media platforms. We twitted tweet about topic for the day 3:Royal Blue on twitter platform. The Goddess for the third Day 'Maa Chandraghanta's' creative JPEG was uploaded on Instagram story & Pinterest. Also, information of 'Cornelia Sorabji' the first woman advocate who worked for Allahabad High court was uploaded on Instagram story. The video of outfit for the third day: Royal Blue of Navratri was shared on Instagram reel & YouTube shorts. Description of Gender Equality Law, 2011 was posted on RCBirla's LinkedIn platform & posted podcast on Spotify for the same. On the third day of Nauरंग3.0 we conducted drawing competition for the participants. Director shared the topic for the drawing competition, rules and regulations to the participants. The topic for the competition was followed: 1) Gender Equality. Total 15 entries were received. Out of that 15 entries we selected top 3 positions. At the end of the third day we shared blog on our RCBirla's official website.


(IV) Day 4- We Are With You 24/7

We started fourth day of Nauरंग 3.0 by updating profile pictures of all social media platforms. We twitted tweet about topic for the day 4: Yellow on twitter platform. The Goddess for the fourth Day 'Maa Kushmanda's' creative JPEG was uploaded on Instagram story & Pinterest. Also, information of 'Dr. Lakshmi Vijayakumar' who has been working in the area of metal health for more than four decades as a practicing psychiatrist, reasearcher, consultant and non-profit founder was uploaded on Instagram story. The video of outfit for the fourth day of Navratri was shared on Instagram reel & YouTube shorts. Description of Mental Health Act, 1987 was posted on LinkedIn & posted podcast on Spotify for the same. On the fourth day of Nauरंग3.0 we conducted 'Mental Health Awareness' Session for the participants. The session was held in online & offline mode. The speaker for the session was Ms. Akanksha Thakur, Asst. Prof. at DMS, B. K. Birla College, Kalyan & Co-ordinator of M-power. She presented a wonderful presentation on 'Mental Health Awareness' in which she explained how we face mental health issues in our daily life without even knowing it. The program’s counsellor gave various methods to the audience to overcome these mental issues. Various Topics were beautifully covered and were explained in detail through presentation. Issues such as stress, Addiction problems, workload, problems related to over-thinking were discussed with the audience. Everyone’s Point of view was shared and discussed related to daily life problems on how much we are stressed in different ways and what things can be done to overcome it. Various doubts were also cleared and the audience was very frank and honest with the counsellor in a very beautiful way. The session was quite interactive as everyone was able to know there problems and stress issues which earlier on didn’t catched their minds. To relief ourselves from stress we can contact 'M-POWER Cell' or we can tell our problems to a friend or to a close person. As the start of the session was done in a very beautiful way the ending as well turned out to be great with the solutions that what can be done to overcome these problems. After the session, some of our students came up with a very interesting doubts/questions which was clearly explained and solved by our counsellor. Making it a grand total of 95 participants. At the end of the session our secretary & project chairpersons felicitated ou speaker for the day 'Ms. Akanksha Thakur'. Directors and everyone present at the venue were asked to share their views on Women Empowerment. Feedback form was circulated at the end of the session. At the end of the fourth day we shared blog on our RCBirla's official website.


(V) Day 5- You're A Fighter

We started fifth day of Nauरंग 3.0 by updating profile pictures of all social media platforms. We twitted tweet about topic for the day 5: Green on twitter platform. The Goddess for the fifth Day 'Maa Skandmata's' creative JPEG was uploaded on Instagram story & Pinterest. Also, information of 'Kiran Bedi' a social activist & the country's first female IPS officer & Policy advisor at United Nations Secretary-General in the peacekeeping operations was uploaded on Instagram story. The video of outfit for the fifth day: Green of Navratri was shared on Instagram reel & YouTube shorts. Description of Special Marriage Act, 1954 was posted on RCBirla's LinkedIn platform & posted podcast on Spotify for the same. On the third day of Nauरंग3.0 we asked girl participants to click a picture of themselves with wearing a green bangles. At the end of the fifth day we shared blog on our RCBirla's official website.


(VI) Day 6- Grey Areas

We started sixth day of Nauरंग 3.0 by updating profile pictures of all social media platforms. We twitted tweet about topic for the day 6: Grey on twitter platform. The Goddess for the sixth Day 'Maa Katyayani's' creative JPEG was uploaded on Instagram story & Pinterest. Also, information of 'Julieta Martinez' a women activist who creating an awareness about this among peers, this Chilean climate and gender equality founder the tremendous Collaborative platform was uploaded on Instagram story. The video of outfit for the sixth day: Grey of Navratri was shared on Instagram reel & YouTube shorts. Description of Domestic Violence Act, 2005 was posted on RCBirla's LinkedIn platform & posted podcast on Spotify for the same. On the sixth day of Nauरंग3.0 we asked participants to show their thinking skills by sharing views on Grey Areas(Domestic Violence, Dowry, unemployment and illiteracy. On the sixth day of Nauरंग3.0 we asked participants to draw a picture on Grey Areas like dowry, Save A Girl Child, Child Marriage, etc. At the end of the sixth day we shared blog on our RCBirla's official website.


(VII) Day 7- She Can Protect Herself

We started seventh day of Nauरंग 3.0 by updating profile pictures of all social media platforms. We twitted tweet about topic for the day 7: Orange on twitter platform. The Goddess for the seventh Day 'Maa Kalratri's' creative JPEG was uploaded on Instagram story & Pinterest. Also, information of 'Malala Yousafzai' a women activist who fight to protect girl's education and being an activist 20 year old Yousoufzai is published author, United Nations (UN) messenger of peace and in 2014 she became the youngest Nobel Laureate Over after receiving Nobel Peace Prize was uploaded on Instagram story. The video of outfit for the seventh day: Orange of Navratri was shared on Instagram reel & YouTube shorts. Description of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 was posted on RCBirla's LinkedIn platform & posted podcast on Spotify for the same. On the seventh day of Nauरंग3.0 we asked Participants had to submit their views on Girls Education and asked them to send picture of holding a paper with "I can protect myself" with wearing orange color clothes. At the end of the seventh day we shared blog on our RCBirla's official website.


(VIII) Day 8- We all are one

We started eighth day of Nauरंग 3.0 by updating profile pictures of all social media platforms. We twitted tweet about topic for the day 8: Peacock Green on twitter platform. The Goddess for the eighth Day 'Maa Mahagauri's' creative JPEG was uploaded on Instagram story & Pinterest. Also, information of 'Vandana Shiva' a women activist who an Indian scholar, environmental activist ,food sovereignty advocate, eco-communist and anti-globalization author was uploaded on Instagram story. The video of outfit for the eighth day: Peacock Green of Navratri was shared on Instagram reel & YouTube shorts. Description of The Act on the Equal Status and Equal Rights of Women and Men (Equal Rights Law) took effect in 2008, was posted on RCBirla's LinkedIn platform & posted podcast on Spotify for the same. On the eighth day of Nauरंग3.0 we asked Participants had to submit their views on how we all are equal and asked them to send the pictures with their brothers and sisters to show "We All Are One". At the end of the eighth day we shared blog on our RCBirla's official website.


(IX) Day 9- Breast Cancer Awareness

We started Ninth day of Nauरंग 3.0 by updating profile pictures of all social media platforms. We twitted tweet about topic for the day 9: Pink on twitter platform. The Goddess for the eighth Day 'Maa Siddhidatri's' creative JPEG was uploaded on Instagram story & Pinterest. Also, information of 'Helen Michener' a women who beat her own breast cancer and who completed three 60-mile breast cancer research fund raising walks was uploaded on Instagram story. The video of outfit for the ninth day: Pink of Navratri was shared on Instagram reel & YouTube shorts. We spread awareness about Breast cancer by uploading stories of causes of breast cancer, self-exam, symptoms of Breast cancer, how to lower or reduce the risk of breast cancer, fast facts about Breast cancer. Description of Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act, 1998 (WHCRA) was posted on RCBirla's LinkedIn platform & posted podcast on Spotify for the same. On the ninth day of Nauरंग3.0 all the participants had to click a photo along with a pink ribbon and give a short motivational message for those women who are suffering from breast cancer. Reason behind this task was to spread awareness about Breast cancer and motivate Breast Cancer patients. At the end of the ninth day we shared blog on our RCBirla's official website.


5. All the tasks were given to the participants one day prior in the WhatsApp group and all the queries related to tasks were cleared their itself by the Directors. Also, the participants had to upload their entries on their Instagram story while tagging RCBirla. All the entries were re-mentioned on our Club's official Instagram handle.


6. All the details of participants were collected through a Google form wherein they had to mention their email addresses. The participation was huge and hence, it took a little long for Directors to sent them E-certificates. All the participants were felicitated with participating E-certificates on their respective email I'ds.
