5. November Spotlight: Empowering Change Through Awareness, Inclusion and Impact

1] FAST The Stroke : An International Service Initiative “FAST the Stroke” was an impactful initiative that successfully raised awareness about the severity of stroke and the importance of early recognition and prevention. By leveraging social media platforms, the campaign effectively reached a wide audience, educating them about the warning signs and preventive measures of stroke. The use of the ‘FAST’ acronym provided a simple yet powerful tool that empowered individuals to take immediate action in case of a stroke emergency. Through informative content, engaging poll questions and valuable insights into stroke rehabilitation and survival, the campaign not only informed but also encouraged active participation and interaction. By the end of the project, we had effectively equipped our community with the knowledge to recognize and act swiftly, ensuring that more lives are protected and the stigma surrounding stroke is reduced. 2] Shakti 2.0 : A Community Service Initiative “Shakti 2.0” was more than just a donation drive; it was a celebration of unity, respect and understanding. By donating over 50 sarees to the transgender community, we didn’t just offer a material gift, but extended a message of equality and support. The project empowered the voices of transgenders, allowing them to share their journeys and insights, shedding light on the challenges they face and the strength they carry. The event fostered a deeper understanding of the transgender community, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and breaking societal stereotypes. The gratitude and feedback from the community were overwhelming and the project left an indelible mark on everyone involved. It was a reminder that true change begins with love, respect and the courage to stand together, making Shakti 2.0 a powerful symbol of solidarity and empowerment. 3] Safar-E-Interact : A Partners-In-Service Initiative The project celebrated the essence of World Interact Week by showcasing the inspiring journeys of Interactors and their contributions to society. Through a well-coordinated video shoot, young members shared their experiences and highlighted impactful initiatives like plantation drives and yoga sessions. The content was later presented in an engaging 3-grid format on Instagram, featuring insightful discussions about the importance of Interact Clubs, their diverse projects and the positive change they bring. By amplifying their voices through social media, the initiative not only fostered pride among the Interactors but also inspired peers and the larger community to recognize the value of collective efforts. It served as a testament to how student-led clubs can spark meaningful change and foster leadership at a young age. 4] Muggle Quidditch : A Sports Initiative “Muggle Quidditch” was a unique and exciting project that brought together creativity and sportsmanship in an unforgettable way. As the first-ever Quidditch event in RID 3142, it offered participants the chance to experience a globally recognized sport, complete with its own twists and competitive edge. With teams like Gryffindor, Slytherin and Invincible competing fiercely, the project brought out the best in everyone, from strategic thinking to physical endurance. The participation of 41 members, including GBMs, GCMs and guests, showed the immense enthusiasm for such innovative initiatives. The victory of Team Gryffindor in the final was just the cherry on top of an event. Overall, Muggle Quidditch wasn’t just about the matches; it was about creating an inclusive, spirited environment where every participant could feel connected and engaged, leaving everyone eager for more. 5] Preamble Pillars : An International Service Initiative “Preamble Pillars” was an enlightening project that successfully raised awareness about the significance of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, highlighting the core values that shape our democracy.
