There are a few quotes we hear on a daily basis, " Your thoughts process and skills will get you the job you dream of", "Your Mental Health is a priority". But what if we portray it in a manner and make you witness the bigger picture? Our thoughts and point of view even if it is related to something as minute as possible, the aspects which influence our musical and cinematic palettes, our everyday habits, preferences, ways of responding or what should we say, do we respond or do we just react? Everything defines the reality of our personalities and the calibre we are ought to carry with us. PathSync was a Career development initiative, which consisted of a session on finding your path through YOU. Dr. Bhushan Patil was the speaker of this session who elaborated the significance of self- awareness. The session involved a keen insight of how human behavioural traits really work and what is the meaning behind them. Most of the concepts are often misunderstood by us due to lack of information. In today’s world where there is so much knowledge already available on the same, it was a session that enlightened us on the facts like how those aspects really affect our professional lives and careers. Understanding & deciding what parts of it should be truly accepted by us & what are the traits we need to improve is a task we all struggle at, but it becomes easier when we narrow things down. That’s what Dr. Bhushan Patil did. He delivered a simple yet detailed information regarding the various personality traits, reasons behind them & the theories which make our prejudices go away. So yes! Your CVs aren’t the only things that get you a job, it’s how much you own out of it. And your Mental health truly proves to be a priority even in the professional routes of your life
