A startup is a company or project undertaken by an entrepreneur to seek, develop a scalable business model. While entrepreneurship development is all about starting a new business that intends to grow large beyond the solo founder. In the beginning, startups face high uncertainty and have high rates of failure, but a minority of them do go on to be successive and influential. According to the economic survey of 2020-21, the Indian government has recognized 50,000 startups in India.
So comparing this with the Entrepreneurship Development Avenue. Our Entrepreneurship Development Director came up with a distinctive initiative wherein the participants had to share the startup ideas that correlate with the roles and responsibility of a particular avenue. For clarifying the entire project to the participants, the avenue director shared a startup idea with them. They had to submit those ideas in a word document.
We've received 8 responses from the side of participants. They have wonderfully presented their startup ideas. Some of them are given below.
(1) Rtr. Sarvesh Chorghe came up with an idea that was related to International Development Avenue. India is a country of festivals and celebrations, so his idea was to set up a travel agency that will plan tours for rotaractors across the globe and give them the experience of our special culture.
(2) Rtr. Mayuri Mahale suggested a startup related to Digital Communication, Pr and Marketing and Editorial Avenue. She suggested a startup that will connect with freelance video editors and graphic designers for the promotion of their project.
All the ideas received by the participants is admirable. We'll be working on the same ideas for the initiatives in the upcoming year.
