Roots And Wings

What is the ultimate base of a successful aspect or entity? What speaks for an organisation as a whole? It is the aim behind its functioning and activities. Branding Rotaract, therefore, involves defining and communicating this very core goal. Explain the true aim of the movement, let people derive what’s the aspect that intrigues them the most about it. For students, Rotaract proves to be a platform of societal development that offers them a chance to focus on their own areas of development in their Rotaract journey as well. Roots & Wings was a Public Relations & Marketing Initiative, that worked towards elaborating the meaning of Rotaract according to each and every GBM (General Body Member). All the interested participants had their teams to work on several tasks together. From preparing digital or handmade posters on “How would you make people understand the meaning of Rotaract so well that they would wish to be a part of it?” to Explaining why you are a proud rotaractor ?. From using creative and captivating techniques of promotion like body art or Rotaract balloon to increasing the followers and educating people regarding the same, we did everything to provide an exposure to the participants as well as inform people about the movement. It was indeed a rewarding experience to watch the future leaders perform all these tasks. Understanding that these fellow rotaractors who were once beginners, now manage to create an influence on the basis of their knowledge of the movement was really something we hold our pride in. Thus, we proudly concluded that branding Rotaract doesn’t need huge and over-exaggerated promises or other aspects, it just needs a well elaborated portfolio, consisting the true aim and meaning of the movement. A communication that is well established through a fellow rotaractor to his friend or family members.
