Dil Ke Dhaage

ree

Raksha Bandhan, a very well-known festival of Indian culture. The festival of siblings and their love. This Raksha Bandhan, we tied the knots of gratitude. Festivals prove to be memorable only when we make it memorable for others. Dil Ke Dhaage , was a Community Service Initiative, where our team members tied rakhis to the ones who are always bombarded with our excuses of forgetting the ID cards at home or if we are late. Yes, the heartfelt token of respect was given to the security guards who never overlook any aspect in the terms of our safety. They are for sure strict towards us, but the care and love behind that strictness is often forgotten or not understood. It was a great opportunity to recognise that love and be grateful for it. We are often surrounded by people who are there to look out for us when our parents are not around, and they’re surely one of them. It was good to know that besides that strict tone and posture they’re just old softies who just aim to look out for us. Try it out guys, always embrace the ones who are not really recognised in the society often. ‘We can make our festivals special, but we are the ones who make theirs special too’. We are so forgetful of these individuals who spend their entire days around us. This project wasn’t just about celebrating Raksha Bandhan, it was a token of gratitude and respect to these kind hearts and a heartfelt ‘Thankyou Brother’ to them
