We are thrilled to share the success and impact of our flagship project, Manasvini 8.0. Building upon the foundation laid by the previous seven editions, this year's project aimed to upgrade facilities in rural areas and empower the villagers to thrive in the outside world. Held in Wagherpada village, Shahad, the project spanned three consecutive days, from 26th to 28th April 2022. The main focus areas of Manasvini 8.0 were community service, health check-ups, educational support, and promoting civic participation.

• Day 1 of Manasvini 8.0 (26th April 2022):

On the first day, the project kicked off at 10 AM when all the participants gathered at BK Birla College to collect their NOCs (No Objection Certificates). The team was then divided into groups of four, and everyone reached the venue via auto-rickshaws. At 11 AM, the opening ceremony commenced with the President Collaring. Simultaneously, the promotion team visited the entire village, creating awareness about the free health check-up camp by banging Dhols in traditional style and distributing pamphlets. Meanwhile, another group started the process of refurbishing the Zilla Parishad school in Wagherpada. The team cleaned the premises thoroughly and conducted necessary repairs. At noon, the health check-up camp began, facilitated by dedicated doctors. Villagers received free medical check-ups and were provided with medicines as required. The doctors were given refreshments, and the lunch for the first day was graciously provided by the villagers. The work continued after the break, and faculty members from our college visited the venue to inspect the progress. By 4 PM, the health check-ups were completed, and the turnout from the villagers was significant, marking the successful completion of day 1.

• Day 2 of Manasvini 8.0 (27th April 2022):

The activities on the second day followed a similar pattern. After arriving at the venue at 11 AM, the promotion team carried out an awareness campaign throughout the village, informing people about the free voter ID application process. Basic information regarding Voter ID cards was shared with the villagers. Furthermore, a dance workshop was organized for the students, allowing them to showcase their talent and enjoy themselves with activities like playing lezim and singing melodious songs. Meanwhile, other team members continued painting the school premises. Faculty members from our college visited again, and lunch was provided by them. The voter ID card enrollment continued throughout the day, benefitting many villagers. The day's activities concluded at 4 PM.

• Day 3 of Manasvini 8.0 (28th April 2022):

Due to the high turnout for voter ID enrollment, the activity extended to the third day as well. Additionally, a group of members organized an interactive playing session for the school students, fostering engagement and fun. The painting of the school was completed, enhancing the school's environment with vibrant colors, cartoon characters, alphabets, numbers, and sceneries. On day 3, the Advisory team visited the venue and provided lunch for the team. Simultaneously, other team members worked on establishing a library. The school canteen was transformed into a library space, with attractive colors adorning the walls. The library comprised books collected as donations from college students under the ISD project 'Wisdom.' The books were divided into seven sub-sections, and chairs were arranged for comfortable reading. Additionally, the school students received notebooks and compass boxes as gifts. Dustbins were set up in the school premises and the village surroundings to promote hygiene and cleanliness. The efforts to create a conducive learning environment and maintain the overall well-being of the village were commendable.

By 4:30 PM, all the activities were wrapped up, and the project came to an official conclusion with the President's adjournment. The three-day journey of Manasvini 8.0 left a lasting impact on the villagers of Wagherpada, Shahad.

Throughout the project, we made sure to keep our stakeholders and the wider community informed about the progress and updates. Regular updates were posted on the Instagram page of RCBirla, allowing people to follow along and stay connected with the project's activities.

In recognition of their invaluable contribution, the team of doctors who participated in the health check-up camp were honored with certificates. On 3rd May 2022, the project directors visited the hospital and personally felicitated the doctors, expressing gratitude for their dedication and assistance.

Manasvini 8.0 stands as a testament to the power of community service and collaboration. The project not only aimed to provide immediate assistance but also focused on creating sustainable change and empowering the villagers to lead better lives. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants, volunteers, doctors, faculty members, and the villagers of Wagherpada for their unwavering support and involvement in making Manasvini 8.0 a resounding success.
