Suggestions from Rotary to Interactors

Throughout our life, we heard a lot of advice from our elders, friends and family. Many pieces of advice have been valuable. Choosing the best advice is too difficult because we believe that the advice given by our elders are never untrue. It is said that "Listen to your elders, not because they are always right. But because they have more experience of being wrong". Nowadays, people don't have elders living with them, whom they can speak and share their problems and ask for suggestions. So here our Partner in Service Directors came up with an incredible initiative "Rishton ki dor". This project involves Rotarians, Rotaractors and Interactors. Here the Partner-in-service directors asked the Rotarians to write some quotes, suggestions, thoughts to motivate the interactors. Also, they were instructed to write some ideas that interactors can use in this pandemic. All the quotes and write-ups received by the Rotarians are conveyed below. Please have a look at them. (1) Don't believe in Luck, Believe in hard work. (2) "Be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves." "Make the other person feel important- and do it sincerely." "Always show respect for the other person's opinion. Never say, 'You are wrong". (3) Patience is the key that connects efforts to success. (4) Let's be a player in life who runs for the goal and not a referee who looks for the faults. (5) When you turn your worries into worship, God will turn your battles into blessings. Rotarians also conveyed some guidance with the interactors to boost productivity and to spend their time during the pandemic. They are listed below. (1) Plan a routine. (2) Learn a language. (3) Organize the notes. (4) Boost your general knowledge. (5) Avoid using the phone for more than 2 hours. (6) Learn how to cook. (7) Work on your interest. (8) Read something completely different to your subject. (9) Be creative. (10) De-stress yourself. (11) Spend time with the elders. (12) Ask for suggestions to improve on. Here is some valuable advice that our Rotarians gave to our beloved interactors. Interactors can seek something through it and they can memorize these words when they feel bad. Thank you to all the rotarians who shared their thoughts will us. We'll be grateful forever for the immense assistance.
