Book Swap

•Nowadays nobody is interested in reading books & novels etc. •Everyone has became a habitual to their mobile phones. •Very few or very less percentage of people reads books & novels etc. •So, in order to inculcate the reading habit amongst people the "Club service Avenue" of Rc Birla along with many more clubs conducted the project "Book swap" on 19th October,2019 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm at shiv Samarth school, Thane. Project name: Book Swap Purpose: • To inculcate reading habit amongst people. • To make them aware about the benefits of reading. Project Execution: • The project "Book swap" was conducted along with the following clubs: * Rotaract club of Thane Central * Rotaract club of Thane Creekside *Rotaract club of DYPSBB satellite city * Rotaract club of Bharati Vidyapeeth Sunrise * Rotaract club of Thane skyline * Rotaract club of Thane hills * Rotaract club of youth royal College * Rotaract club of KV pendharkar college * Rotaract club of Ulhasnagar Sapna Garden. • Club service directors of all the clubs gathered 1 hour prior for discussion of the project. • Registrations were ended till 4:30 pm. • All the readers & non readers were provided a ribbon which was tied on their wrist. • Members were given chit according to which they had to take a book from hoard. • After that the book swap was started by keeping in mind certain rules • The owner who had picked the book has to explain the reason why the person bought the book. • Everyone enjoyed a lot during this event. With this the project Book swap was ended with fruitful results.
